After School Programs:
Elementary Program (Grades Pk-5)
Hours: 2:00PM-6:30PM
5 day program: $110 per week
3 day program: $90 per week
2 day program: $70 per week
1 hour each day will be focused on classes in the
visual and performing arts.
Students will work with trained tutors to complete homework assignments for each day. Tutors will work with small groups of students in a quiet area and will check assignments for completeness and correctness. Free Play and a healthy snack are also a part of our program. Students will be encouraged to play outside, but there will be board games, cards, and books to entertain them until pick-up time. The after school program runs in 10 week semesters allowing students to make changes in their instructional areas through out the year.

Young Artists’ Academy Middle School Program (Grades 6-8)
Monday –Friday 3:30pm-6:30pm
$105 per week
Designed for the middle school “tweens”, this after school program offers each student the opportunity to focus on any aspect of the fine arts—visual or performance. Working with highly gifted artists, students will be immerse in their chosen art for 2 hour instructional periods per day. During this time they will engage in creative process of preparing for a gallery showing, producing a play or musical, or creating a dance, vocal, or instrumental concert. Time is also allotted for supervised homework completion and a healthy snack. Transportation is available from most Bowie Middle Schools.
